My students are super! They are brilliant, compassionate, outgoing learners. I call them my superstars, because I want them to know that they will be super at whatever they put their minds to. I work at a Title I school, and 100 percent of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. The economic background of my students affects their vocabulary knowledge. This gap in vocabulary knowledge can impact every subject area of a student's academic career. The challenges caused by the economic disadvantages of my students' background have not changed their enthusiasm about learning. Their love of learning is evident daily, and the light shining from these superstars is heart warming. I want to provide them with the best educational experiences possible.
