As a first grade teacher, students are learning new things at a quick pace. They are curious and inquisitive all of the time - which makes teaching such a joy. In my classroom, students are celebrated for who they are and we build on both our strengths and areas that need growth. As a former special education teacher, I recognize students need different things at different times, including hands on learning, whole brain teaching, flexible seating and much more. We go through materials frequently in our differentiated classroom. Once materials from the beginning of the school year run out, there is no more! Therefore, I am very grateful to Donors Choose and all of the donors!
