My classroom is combined of 34 strong and determined children. These children are displaced due to hurricane Harvey. I would love to give them the opportunity to experience flexible seating. It would provide my students with the ability to get their wiggles out and pay attention in class. It would also give them a fun and exciting place to learn. What child wouldn't want to learn while being comfortable and feeling at home? Flexible seating would provide students who need to be moving an opportunity to move without disrupting others around them. I appreciate everyone's help in making a fun place to learn for my children! My goal is to provide my students with beanbag chairs to sit in and read or participate in centers.
The materials will help make sure my students are successful this school year and years to come. The Gaiam Kids Balance Ball Chair - Classic Children's Stability Ball Chair, would be used for children that need to move and can't sit still. They will be able to bounce and move as they learn. The movement will help with their success. The Big Joe Dorm Bean Bag Chair will give my students a place to read and relax. It will make reading fun and relaxing. The Air Stability Wobble Cushion, will give my students the opportunity to move while in their seats learning. The number unlock will help my students with multiplication facts. I will put stickers on the locks with multiplication facts and the keys will have answers. The students will work through multiplication facts by unlocking locks to check answers.
