In my classroom, I have 24 students, 16 boys and 8 girls. There are more then 8 different nationalities represented in our classroom, creating an unique environment where students learn and grow together.
With each student coming from an unique background, it can often be a challenge to find new ways to keep students continuously engaged through various methods of teaching. My students lives continuously use the technology around them and respond well when various sources of technology are incorporated into lesson plans.
George T. Wilkins Elementary School strives to harbor a safe, fun, and interactive learning environment, despite the many challenges of residing within a low income area.
