My students are excited about reading, and I do not want running out of new books to put an end to that excitement. Although I have added many personal books to our classroom library where students are free to browse and borrow whenever they want, what I have is just not enough to feed their reading hunger. My students only visit our school library once a week, they need access to multiple reading resources at all times. By growing our classroom library we will be growing each of my students as a reader. Independent reading will help my students to grow in all academic areas, and by having books ready and available it only makes this process easier.
