We have just received a new literacy curriculum for our school district. Many supplies are needed to help the students to use this amazing curriculum to improve their reading and writing skills. These supplies will be used by the entire first grade team.
They will use these literacy supplies to practice their learned skills daily. The book bags will let them keep books that are at their reading level readily accessible at any moment for their reading practice. The journals will allow them to practice the writing that we have been learning about in class.
Finally, the paint cups and pom poms will be used as incentives to log their learning accomplishments.
