These materials will help students work from home. I am organizing an art kit for every ceramic and drawing student (about 200 total).
Art students will begin the year by learning basic sketching techniques and color theory. The art kit consists of a zipper storage bag, a set of color pencils, oil pastels and drawing supplies to experiment with different values, learn how to mix colors and maintain a visual journal. Ceramic students will begin the year by learning clay basics, hand-building techniques, and working on a visual journal. The ceramic kit will provide students with a sturdy container for their in-progress work, 5Lb of clay, modeling tools and sponges.
We need your help to provide every child with personal supplies-to meet CDC safety guidelines of no communal materials. These young artists belong to a school where art hasn't been taught for two years- they're excited to experience art and ceramics again!
