This project is requesting Chromebooks which are power tools. With these computers, the students can surf the internet. Middle School students can surf the internet for interest inventories, career paths, virtual job shadowing, education requirements to fulfill selected career paths, and more. Learning in-depth about a wide range of jobs within 17 Career Clusters will encourage all students to become invested in their futures and will underscore the relationship between academic coursework and careers. As we are preparing students to meet the demands of today’s competitive workplace, students will acquire a plethora of informational resources. They can research the education and skills required, salaries, trending careers, and much more. In our technological-driven environment, students must rise to the challenge to be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in college, career, and life activities. Using technology to explore and virtually shadow careers will provide students with the benefits of job shadowing and comprehensive career exploration. We are empowering students to achieve their best future!
