The student population at my school is at or below the poverty level. Research has shown that students in this low socioeconomic position have the mindset that life is and will be hard for them. Thus leading them to be complacent and have no desire to even try to make things better.
The Growth Mindset movement Read Aloud books will be just the thing to help my students connect to the characteristics to change.
The read aloud books that I am requesting along with the program, will give me the tools to help make that change and break that cycle!
