Westwood Charter Elementary School is a unique school that is dedicated to educating the whole child. Our curriculum is developmental and experiential. We guide students to construct knowledge from meaningful interactions with each other and the world. Our school is in the city of Los Angeles and serves an amazingly diverse population.
Our classroom is a multi-age setting, by design. First and second grade students work together, within a "family" of four other multi-age classrooms. The teachers, parents, administration and students work together to build meaningful learning experiences.
