Every day our students have the opportunity to create. Throughout the year they quickly go through paper, clay, tape, glue and paint. Not only do we need to replenish these materials often, but with new materials we have the opportunity to inspire their creativity and innovation.
These materials will push our students beyond the basic paper and tape project.
They will be encouraged to try out different mediums and forms of expression. In addition, these materials will also be used for curriculum related projects. As we study the Eastern Woodlands and create collages of indigenous animals, embroider self-portraits in the beginning of the year, and have open-ended project time, these materials will bring the students' ideas to life.
