Many of my students have an extremely difficult time concentrating in class due to their special needs. This impacts their learning and causes them to fall behind, despite their ability. The purpose of this project is to help close that gap.
By donating, you will be helping dozens of students focus on learning the essential skills necessary to succeed in school. When students are comfortable, they will be able to give their full attention to learning, rather than being distracted by discomfort. I would like a large rug and foam mats so students can gather on the floor for groups or sit there for independent work. My students would also benefit from having wobble stools, inflatable wobble cushions, and bouncy bands that will allow them to get their wiggles out at their desks while still focusing on their work. A set of stools will allow more students to fit at the small group table for guided math groups to get the individualized instruction they need.
My students will be incredibly grateful for the chance to learn more in a comfortable setting that meets their needs.
