My first graders are energetic, creative, kind and eager to learn daily. I do serve at a Title 1 school were 100% of our student population receives free lunch. Despite having limited resources in our classroom, my students come to school with a smile and the desire to make the most our of everyday!
As a teacher, I want all of my students to reach their full potential in and out of the classroom. Many lack basic essentials at home to complete homework or projects, or the access to technology. I want my students to feel comfortable and know that our classroom has the necessary tools needed to become a successful scholar.
