I am the dance and drama teacher, and I teach Kindergarten through fifth grade students. This is my first year teaching, so I do not have a lot of materials for my classroom. My students are an enthusiastic bunch of kids who love performing. I have several classes that will do performances throughout the year.
One class is my dance ensemble class. For the past four years this class has attended Pieces of Gold; a district-wide talent show. The school is able to provide some costume pieces for my students, yet, due to the tough economic times and the area in which we are located, funds are not always available for everything we need.
