I teach at an urban low-socioeconomic school and work full-time with students with mild-moderate learning disabilities in grades 7-8. Most of the students need interactive and hands-on activities to master and generalize concepts. Many of the students do not have a home environment to reinforce and extend school learning due to language barriers and lack of resources available in the home setting.
