The 1st - 3rd grade intervention scholars I teach are reading several years behind their peers; However they are eager and excited to read. They bounce into their reading group with enthusiasm and energy to tackle a new text.
I use a strategic instructional process with a mix phonics, phonemic awareness and leveled reading texts. Students engage in hands on reading and writing skill practice and apply it with REAL reading!!
