What better way to improve literacy than through song? Sing-along stories can help student engagement while working on literacy skills within my choir class. Sing-along stories have the potential to improve listening skills, increase vocabulary, and help students become familiar with the value of books.
Music is interdisciplinary. Sing-along stories provide a new way for me to connect music with other subjects that my students are learning each and every day.
