I have wonderful students that are eager to learn. They enjoy reading, math and writing. They also enjoy computer lab, and coding. I have 14 girls and 8 boys. We are a Bilingual Classroom. The students are learning how to read and write in Spanish and English. Twelve of my students are English language Learners with their primary language being Spanish. Eight are English native speakers that are learning Spanish for the first time. This dynamic makes our classroom an interesting and fun place to learn. We are a low income school. We do fundraising to take them to interesting, educational and fun field trips. Besides academics, they have dance class where they are learning different dances from other countries. We are currently learning the Chinese Dragon dance. We are also learning to sing traditional
children Spanish songs. Furthermore, we are learning global studies with our focus on North America.
About my class
