I teach special needs students in a rural elementary school. I am the only Exceptional Children teacher in my very small rural elementary school. I work with students whose ages range from kindergarten through sixth grade. My students overcome challenges from a variety of disabilities including general learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Disorders, Dyslexia, Intellectual Disabilities, Hearing and Impairments, and others. I teach me students to take those challenges, see what we can't, do, and believe in the power of yet. I can't do it... yet.
