These materials will assist our children in learning so they have a consistent visual for all to see and follow along during group music, story, morning message and activities. Being able to project to a larger screen will provide a large visual for all students, including those with a visual impairment, to participate in interactive learning opportunities.
The smart TV and Apple TV will improve students' exposure to novel language, speech skills, and social skills needed to participate in classroom activities. We will use interactive books to improve vocabulary and language development. To go along with the adapted books, we can assess their knowledge by projecting assessment questions for the children to answer.
Music will assist in following multiple step directions, and use of real life videos will provide the students with exposure to events, and opportunities in place of outings.
