My students live in Alabama and attend public school in a high poverty area. Most come from homes where furthering education is not a priority. We are working very hard to change that mindset. In the library I like to present new engaging opportunities for students. These materials will make an impact. The children are hard workers and willing to try new things. With these resources they can have hands on learning experiences to spark new ideas and create new interests.
