Our class is filled with a bunch of goofy, extra, and bright students. Many of our students come from low-income homes and our class is a safe place for students to express themselves and grow. As a Latino educator, I see myself in these students. They are eager to learn, although sometimes hesitant and self doubting. However with the right attitude, adequate supplies, and safe place to learn, these students are genuinely capable of whatever they set their minds to. I believe in them and I hope you do too!
