I am a 1st grade Spanish immersion teacher. I have 25 students eager to learn Spanish. Throughout the day, students were given opportunities to work in various ways to learn the Spanish vocabulary. Sometimes they worked together as a class, and other days we broke up into reading, writing, listening, and speaking groups. Our school is slowly improving from a focus school. I teach in a Title 1 school in which 100% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
