All students need a flexible learning environment where they have access to different ways in which they learn best. Many classrooms stick to the basic normal table and chair format expecting all students to sit quietly and learn.
Studies have shown that students, just as us adults, learn best when we are given the choice of where our learning can take place.
Many of my students have never been in a classroom let alone be expected to sit on a chair for eight hours of their day and learn. With this project, I hope to provide my students with a learning environment in which they are given options to choose where they feel they can learn best. Students can choose to sit on the mini sofas, on wobble stools, standing up, or simply on the floor with clipboards.
Not all students are the same and not all students learn the same. With this project, I hope to be able to address all of my students learning styles.
