I teach a class of talented and gifted students who have a variety of different learning styles. They are constantly thinking outside the box and need space to express their interests through non-traditional, hands-on learning such as STEM activities, science projects, creativity and collaboration. Our school and system is moving toward personalized and project based learning which requires a different type of atmosphere and mind set. Students take responsibility and have more voice and choice in their learning. They learn required content and "dig deeper" into concepts to gain a solid understanding of the curriculum while being allowed to showcase each unique talent and interest.
About my class
