I teach science to gifted students from grades 4-5. Over sixty percent of the 850 students at my school receive free and/or reduced price lunch. They come from many different backgrounds impoverished to affluent. One thing all of these students have in common is a love for technology. We are living in the digital age and that is very noticeable when it comes to teaching these youngsters. They respond positively to lessons involving technology including computers, digital presentations, and even calculators!
