All children should be given the opportunity to excel at learning. If children are provided with the proper resources, this opportunity is possible. Every year I am fortunate to teach 10 preschoolers who have special needs in a high-risk, urban public school in Virginia. They are often included in the general education preschoolers when given support and resources.
