My name is Mrs. Pierce and I am from Denham Springs, Louisiana. I teach 2nd grade at Denham Springs Elementary. My school and community recently endured the Historic Flood of August 2016 that left at least 105,000 residents out of 137,000 with significant flood damage to their homes. It left a devastating impact on our community. I am reaching out to try to find help to restore my classroom. Most of our sweet students have lost everything including their home away from home. When our community recovers I hope and pray we will be stronger than ever before.
