Students often to come to school without a simple tool such as a pencil to engage in the day-to-day learning. Students are also not permitted to use the water fountains. Providing reusable water bottles instead of my students having to use multiple plastic water bottles daily will help teach students how we can help the environment by reducing waste. My students have worked hard and tirelessly coming back from being all virtual over the past year, that I wanted to provide a time to celebrate them with a small party. To also ensure that our room stays clean, we wipe down all books, desks, and chairs. The times we live in have been financially challenging to some families. They have not been able to to donate the cleaning supplies that we desperately need.
