Our school is an inner-city school with a diverse population. We are fortunate to have Life Skills and Autism programs in our building. Our school is a learning community where all students are celebrated for their unique and special qualities.
In my classroom I have 25 kindergarteners who are energetic, curious and eager to learn! They are a special group of children who help and support each other, whether it be on an academic task or helping a friend tie a shoe. They have learned to work together nicely, respecting their differences.
My students come from a variety of cultural and economic backgrounds. However, the one thing they all have in common is their love of learning and their excitement to share it with others!
