Headphones will make such a difference in the the students' learning by allowing them to use the technology that is provided by the school district . While we do have tablets, we do not have any headphones which makes it difficult to impossible for the students to use some of the applications. Not only is our school a Title I school, but was also impacted by the hurricane which means our funds are stretched this year which makes it difficult to purchase "extra materials."
Keeping the students engaged is the key to their success, and technology is the answer. We simply need to add the final touch of the headphones to help us close the gap for these Title I students by providing them with opportunities to utilize the learning applications.
