Our 4th grade class is in a small California elementary school that is classified as Program Improvement. Our population is 64% free/reduced lunch and a strong percentage are English Language Learners. Though we have these areas of focus, we have a very loving, tight knit population. I see this as a strength instead of a challenge or block. The students are ready. We just need to get more creative to get the job done!
