Early childhood is all about discovering and learning about the world around you. It is so important for children to be able to explore and discover using their hands. With this light table and variety of manipulatives, students will be able to use their own creativity while exploring STEM topics. Students will learn about color awareness, geometry, number identification, alphabet awareness, and fine motor skills. Research and developmentally appropriate practice teach us that children learn best with hands-on activities. The Interlox, stacking and rainbow blocks teach not only color and shapes, but introduce beginning engineering skills. The animal and human x-rays spark students interest in science. Along with letter and number recognition, the alphabet and numbers, as well as the splash pads, will help students with their fine motor skills, in a tactile way. The accessory kit and sorting mats will help provide visuals while teaching concept skills. The light table with the requested manipulatives encourage open-ended play and cooperation. The possibilities for playing and learning are endless. By donating to this project, you are helping my kids become little explorers!
