Research shows that children who read daily achieve more. As a result, I'm always looking for ways to strengthen my classroom library to make it fun and inviting for the students. My students have set goals to read for 30 minutes independently each day. We have timers that are set and we are ready to succeed. I need additional reading material to add to my classroom library that will help my students reach their goal of reading 30 minutes daily. We need high-interest books that offer the students choice in the way their story adventure begins and ends. The books that I have selected are topics that I really think my students will enjoy - especially the boys.
