In order for my students to be able to fulfill the hands-on portion of our culinary course, I am having to ensure each lab space is equipped with individual mini-pantries and proper PPE for social distancing practices. These students have gone through the pre-requisite course and have looked forward to cooking in Foods 1 & 2 all summer. My hopes are to provide them an environment that is rigorous, exploratory, and memorable--even through COVID and remote learning.
Students will be able to reach their culinary goals throughout the year as long as I can provide this environment for them while they are in the building. Thank you for supporting future culinary enthusiasts and shine a light in this grim world in which we are currently living!
