Currently, we are reading the book Wonder as a classroom read-aloud - they love the character of August Pullman and I hope to provide for them multiple versions of this text. I love We're all Wonders, because of the message of accepting one's individuality is something that my students would benefit greatly from hearing.
My students strongly benefit from manipulatives and hands-on learning. The Play-Doh, scissors, and dry-erase pocket sleeves would allow for us to do more activities that allows just that.
Finally, the biography series is a strong want for our classroom, because it introduces them to a rich diversity of historical influencers. Our school library is closed due to COVID, because of this, I want to have as large of a selection of books for our classroom library as possible.
