The students in our autism program range from Kindergarten thru 5th Grade. They are funny, extremely lively and absolutely love Legos! Each of them requires support in the areas of social skills, communication (speech), and fine motor skills.
These children live in a low-income, industrial neighborhood. Over 97% of the students in our school are classified as economically disadvantaged.
The school has become the hub of the community for many of the people in the area, offering citizenship classes, GED prep, a low / no cost clinic, and after-school programs. It is a loving, child-friendly environment.
