We have a very diverse school of 2003 students. 89 % Asian American, 6 % European American, 2 % Hispanic, 1% African American. In 2017 MSJH had 3.8 % socioeconomically disadvantaged students and 3.1 % English learners. We are the third largest high school in the city of Fremont where there are five high schools.
Classes use the Library weekly to check out materials and research online information for their studies. Library is packed from 7:30 a m with students completing homework assignments and doing research. School break and lunches have the Library packed to maximum capacity with students socializing and studying. Much of the library materials are extremely dated, as far back as 1940's and new updated materials are greatly needed to improve the library collection.
