Since 82% of our students are on free or reduced lunch, their lunch here at school could be their only meal of the day. Out of 25 students in our classroom, 16 are English Language Learners. High poverty combined with language learning puts our students at an even higher risk of failure. My goal is to continue to encourage them to love school as well as defeat challenges in their way.
