Our students are a diverse group in a public, inner city high school who are new to the sport of swimming. They are happy, cheerful teenagers excited about something new, fun, and active. Each class has 52 students in it!Although the sport is physically taxing, they beg to play more. A group of students from the classes have even started a water polo club on their own since our district does not have a team. All of the other surrounding districts have water polo teams. We play during swimming class.
