Inside our classrooms, students learn in both whole group and small group settings, however, not all students thrive in the whole group setting. This is why small groups are critical in my classroom. Currently, we do not have a table that is effective for small group instruction.
Small group interactions would be enhanced by having a kidney shaped table for effective verbal communication and the added bonus of a write-on surface to communicate ideas in writing. This type of table would help students who are auditory learners, visual learners, and kinesthetic learners. Please help us with a "write-on" table.
