I teach high school students who are interested in becoming teachers. In the classroom, they learn about child development, teaching methods, writing lesson plans, and trends in education. Two days a week, they go to local elementary schools to work hands-on in the classroom. The students get on-the-job training while helping teachers in their classrooms. My job is to prepare them to be great teachers for the next generation.
