Our classroom is made up of 18 kids, 15 of which speak both Spanish and English. A large majority of our school is receiving free or reduced-price lunch. We are in a rural area of Florida, and our students LOVE coming to school. When working at a desk or table, we are constantly fidgeting and switching between sitting and standing (even if we are on task!)...and if we're on the carpet, we're still moving! We're curious how adding the choice of a yoga ball seat would change the learning dynamic of our classroom and our ability to focus our attention on one, two, or three things at a time, as we live in a world where being able to focus on or quickly switch back and forth between two or three different things may actually be beneficial!
