My students come from homes in which 3-4 generations are living under the same roof. They come to school with their meals reduced to eat breakfast and lunch everyday. But they are eager, hard working, and show delight in their faces when they come to music class. They attend a 95% Hispanic Title 1 school in the southwest side of Dallas, Texas where the student enrollment is 550 for Prek-6th grade.
