My students are awesome. I have the honor of being the person that is on the front lines trying to encourage them to stay the course. A lot of my students are the students that "get swept under the rug," and I try to show them everyday that they have no idea where life will take them. They are the leaders in their destiny. Being a high school drop out myself, I know the struggles that can await them if they choose that path, so it's very important to me to show them that we have a huge world out there, and the here and now does not have to be their future.
