School has evolved from the days of textbooks and worksheets to involve technology and the internet is now our biggest tool. In a low income school, technology is not readily available to my students. In order to keep up with a technology driven world, today's students need to graduate high school with real-world skills. By utilizing iPads in a science classroom setting, will students be engaged in meaningful learning experiences, virtual labs, group and research assignments, as well as build study habits. The iPad provides a fun and exciting way to mix learning with life skills by preparing them for a tech-savvy workforce.
