Every day I have the blessing of witnessing young men walk into a weight room with basically nothing inside of it and still give their best. We have to get creative and "make" our own equipment. I know that if my kids are given the opportunity and resources that other children get, this will jump start our program.
In order to give my athletes access to a plane of equality, we need the resources to help us compete with other programs. Certain items like resistance bands, power sleds and recoil packs will definitely help us out. We will longer have to ask the question, "What if my students had the same resources that schools in better neighborhoods get?"
