I am requesting the equipment needed to play pickleball at our school such as paddles, balls, and nets. It is important for students to learn about and experience racket sports to improve striking skills, coordination, agility, and overall fitness. Pickleball is a great individual or partner game for students. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Overall, it is a game all students can learn to enjoy as well as improve fitness.
Donating to this project will give my students the opportunity to learn and play this racket sport over the years to come!
Pickleball is a great lifetime activity and is becoming more and more popular. The goal of playing this sport in my class will be to build students' confidence, so they continue to play outside of school.
