I will use the Kidney Activity table to engage my students during my guided reading centers. This table will allow me to monitor all my students at the same time while each still has their own space to work, but it doesn't take up a lot of classroom space. The bean bag chairs will be placed in a reading nook that our maintenance man created in my classroom using my two file cabinets and my existing counter. The nook is in my classroom library so the students will be able to grab a book, relax on a bean bag and get sucked it.
