In 2015, I left my position at a research lab at the University of Miami to become a high school science teacher. Our students at EPA are amazing. As a Title 1 school in a largely agricultural area, we have students from all walks of life. We serve an overwhelming percentage of minority students, nearly 80%. We don't have the resources for many hands on activities, but with your assistance but I hope to grow the inquiry driven part of our department. Hands on experience leads to higher student engagement and success!
